Ski racing is one of the most dangerous sports in the world but competitors have little more than a helmet, goggles, and a spine protector to keep them safe while speeding in excess of 100mph down steep terrain, but perhaps in the near future they will have an extra layer of protection borrowed from the world of motorcycle racing by the name of The D-Air® .  Inflatable safety gear have been used in protect motorcycle racers with great success for the past 8 years and it has taken 5 years to properly adapt that technology for use in the world of ski racing.  Lets hope this works as well as it does in the videos and becomes the new standard so our brave racers can have long and healthy careers.
