BMW has teamed up with Leitner Ropeways to build Series 7-inspired gondola cars for Hochzillertal/Kaltenbach, Austria. To catch a ride in one of these high-end BMW gondola cars (equipped with leather seats, an integrated massage function and a multimedia system) you must first sign up for a special €150 luxury package. The package includes two-day lift tickets for two people, line-cutting privileges, brunch, an Alpine Grooves CD (Volume 4!), and use of a waterbed at Hochzillertal’s Sun Lounge. At €150 that might sound like a lot of cash to ride a BMW gondola for wankers but actually it’s 26 Euros less than standard two-day passes.
An ultra-modern cabin from LEITNER ropeways ensures a relaxed mountain ascent. The interior comes from BMW Individual – comprising of leather seats with an integrated massage function and a multimedia system from the BMW 7 limousine series.
