Four inches of fresh and strong winds at Jackson Hole buffed out the top of the mountain last night.  The sun was fighting to come out all day today and depending on where you were the visibility would come and go.  When you could see the skiing was great, especially on the softer north facing slopes. The lower mountain and some of the south facing slopes are still a little hard from the recent melt thaw cycle, but softening up with each new snow.  There were no lines today at any lift.  I think most of the locals were giving their legs a rest hoping to be strong for the 8-12 they are predicting for tonight.  Cross your fingers!
