Vail Resorts is introducing new dining experiences, après destinations and upgraded mountain-lodge menus across its ski resorts for the 2026-27 season. The company announced the changes on October 26, describing the initiative as its largest investment in food to date.
The upgrades will affect popular quick-service items across 15 resorts, including burgers, chili, pizza, fries, hot dogs, chicken strips and mac and cheese. Vail Resorts says the menu improvements will feature higher-quality ingredients and refined recipes without additional price increases beyond normal inflation.
One example is the new Steakhouse Burger, which features a butcher’s blend patty, melted American cheese, shredded lettuce and Summit Sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Seasoned waffle fries accompany the burger, with pecan-smoked bacon available as an addition.
“An exceptional guest experience isn’t about a single standout moment, it’s high-standard service delivered at every turn that makes the whole ski trip unforgettable.” – Greg Sullivan, Vail Resorts’ executive vice president of retail-rental, hospitality and food and beverage.
The company is also introducing technology and operational improvements intended to reduce wait times and increase seating capacity at mountain dining locations.
