Amazing scenes from Mammoth Mountain in California where a resort employee was pulled from the crowd for a memorable musical performance.
The video was taken during a set by Lithuanian born DØVYDAS who is world famous for his one-man shows featuring his virtuoso guitar skills combined with a multipurpose drum pad and live looping. DØVYDAS often invites members of the audience to join him on stage and results tend to vary but we can confidently say this dude named Travis crushed it.
Travis was jamming his acoustic guitar downstairs (nobody better squeal if he was on the clock) when his fellow employees told him to head to the sundeck of the Canyon Naan Stop & Beach Bar. DØVYDAS saw him at a distance and identified him as a potential collaborator. DØVYDAS didn’t have the gear to quickly mic up Travis’ acoustic guitar so he handed him his blonde Telecaster Vintera to give a whirl. Travis starting strumming some bluesy chords and DØVYDAS sent some soaring solo riffs into the mountain air. The improvisational song was capped off by some hilarious lyrics before they ended with a flurry and Travis announced he had to go back to work.
