BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada – British Columbia is synonymous with outdoor adventures like skiing. Whistler Blackcomb, the largest ski resort in North America, is located in Canada’s third largest province, in addition to countless other resorts both massive and small. Sadly there’s plenty of now closed and forgotten ski resorts throughout the province as well. YouTuber Skier 72 took a look at 30 abandoned and forgotten resorts across British Columbia.

Some of these ski resorts have been completely abandoned for years, with little to nothing remaining from the lifts or infrastructure that was once there. Some resorts were abandoned more recently and their lodges, chairlifts, or other infrastructure still remains. These once popular sights have since been lost to time.
