Utah’s largest ski area is easily among the state’s most famous, if not the most famous. Park City Mountain is home to a boatload of trails and runs, but the crew at Ski Utah picked Sundog as their favorite for their Signatures series.
Sundog is the perfect run for the person looking to ride some serious steeps while enjoying unbelievable views, situated along the right side after getting off the McConkey’s Express chairlift. It’s not quite difficult enough to fit into the double black diamond category, but it’s still iconic.
Park City has 7,300 skiable acres and over 330 trails across the entire ski area. 40 lifts take skiers and snowboarders around the mountain where 355 inches of snow fall on average every year.
