A lot has changed since 1973, skis have gotten wider, presidents have come and gone and come again, The Red Sox and The Cubs both broke the curse, but one thing has remained the same, Yellowstone National Park’s Winter Keeper.
Meet Mr. Steve Fuller who has held the position as Yellowstone’s Winter Keeper for the last 51 years. The primary task of the winter keeper is to clear the roofs of the park’s buildings to prevent damage and there is a lot of downtime between work. It can be a lonesome job and not everyone is cut out for the hermit lifestyle but if you enjoy solitude there is no better way to make a living.
