Flat tires while biking are the worst. Sure, tubeless has made it a bit better, but it’s still a major nuisance. Plus, CO2 cartridges for refills are expensive, and hand pumps are aa pain. One Kickstarter campaign is promising to make the concept of refilling your tires on the road just a little less difficult, with the AirGo II handheld mini electric bike pump.
The AirGo II claims to be able to pump up a bike tire to 100 PSI in just 2.5 minutes, allowing you to choose from four different units (PSI, PAR, KPA, kg/cm²) and four different modes (road bike, mountain bike, motorcycle, and balls) to match your needs. And, with a 630mAh*2 battery and USB Q3.0 Rapid charging, you shouldn’t have to worry about this thing dying on you.
The clear electronic display allows you to monitor the current air pressure, and select a pressure for the AirGo II to automatically stop at. Plus, it only generates 60dB of noise from 1 meter away. The product comes with a charger, an inflator hose, and multiple nozzles for various uses.
The campaign has concluded on Kickstarter, but you can purchase the AirGoII on Indiegogo for as low as $79 USD. As with any Kickstarter or Indiegogo purchase, understand that this is a new product that doesn’t have much customer product testing.
