The world’s largest indoor ski resort is nearing completion three years after breaking ground in 2021 and is set to open later this year. The Wintastar Shanghai located in Shanghai, China’s Lingang Special Area will feature three indoor trails navigating 45,000 sq/m of snow cover terrain. The building itself has an incredible 90,000 sq/m footprint (approx 22 acres) and will become the world’s biggest indoor ski facility when it opens. We will be sure continue coverage as construction updates become available.
