There have been some incredible athletes throughout the history of the Freeride World Tour, but few have a story to tell quite like Kevin Nichols. He’s fought tooth and nail to compete in some of the biggest competitions in skiing, all while battling an epilepsy diagnosis. His story is outlined in the ~25 minute video below, and I highly recommend you check out the whole thing. Also, go give Kevin a follow on his Instagram. Up until a few days ago, he hadn’t posted anything since last March, but maybe he’ll post more often from here on out, and maybe we’ll be able to keep up with him through social media.

“Kevin has dealt with this complex brain disorder for yearsโ€”resulting in many seizures, doctor visits, and medical experimentsโ€”but ultimately this challenge has made him stronger every single season.”ย – Blizzard Tecnica
