The skier in the video below is probably feeling lucky to be alive.

Watch as he triggers an avalanche skiing a tasty line down a freshly-coated slope that seems to be relatively steep.

His slough catches up to him, causes some of the snow to slide underneath, and sends him barreling over a rock band and a cliff.
