A 50 year old tourist from Hong Kong died at the Grand Canyon after he stumbled over the edge while taking a photo and fell 1,000 feet to the canyon floor. NBC reports the tourist fell Thursday morning near Eagle Point at Grand Canyon West near  the popular Skywalk attraction. His body had to be recovered by helicopter. The area is closed for the day.

This is the second death at the Grand Canyon this week.  About 95 miles east of Eagle Point a body was found Tuesday evening in a wooded area south of Grand Canyon Village away from the rim. The cause of death is unclear.
