If you’re looking to go trick-or-treating on Halloween, hunting powder is scientifically proven to be healthier than eating candy.

Yesterday, Wolf Creek Ski Area announced that it will open for the 2026-27 season on Saturday, October 31st. Snow from last week has left Wolf Creek with a wet but stable base, meaning it’s sufficient for shredding. The mid-mountain base depth is 12″

Around 30% of the terrain will be available for shredding, with the Treasure Stoke, Bonanza, and Nova scheduled to operate. Click here to learn about the full terrain lineup.

Lift tickets will be priced as follows:

  • $73 for adults,
  • $55 for seniors and
  • $36 for children.

The following buildings and services are also scheduled to open: Main Day Lodge, Upper Lodge, Pathfinder Bar, Ski & Snowboard School, Ski & Snowboard Rental, and Treasure Sports.

After opening weekend, operations will run Friday through Sunday until major snowfall arrives.
