Snowboarding on real trails with Bonvo Ride.

Skiers and snowboarders looking for a way to get their mountain fix without leaving home can now explore thousands of real ski resorts through Bonvo Ride, a free multiplayer game that runs directly in a web browser.

The game features more than 6,000 ski resorts across 69 countries, allowing players to race friends, compete against other riders, or explore real mountains virtually. No downloads, accounts, or advertisements are required to play.

Race Friends or Explore Real Mountains

Bonvo Ride offers several ways to play. Public lobbies let up to 10 riders compete in races, with a new race starting every minute. Players looking to ride with a group of friends can use party multiplayer, which supports up to 16 participants.

Free ride mode allows players to choose from thousands of resorts and explore their trails without a timer. The game also includes an arcade mode featuring missions, combos, unlocks, and saved progress.

One of the game’s more interesting features is its friend challenge system. After completing a run, players can share a link that lets friends race down the same slope from the same starting point and attempt to beat their time.

Real Resorts and Ski Runs

Unlike games built around entirely fictional mountains, Bonvo Ride uses real-world geographic data to recreate ski areas. Terrain is generated from elevation data, while trail layouts, lifts, and difficulty colors come from OpenStreetMap.

Players can choose resorts across the Alps, North America, Japan, Scandinavia, and other regions. Popular destinations appearing on the platform include Killington Resort, Whistler Blackcomb, Laax, and Paradiski, but there are so many more. If you think you’re local resort won’t appear on the website, you’re probably wrong.

A live map also shows where players are riding, with activity counts highlighting popular resorts and individual runs. The platform displays participation totals rather than revealing the identities of riders who have not chosen to share their profiles.

Play Without Installing Anything

Bonvo Ride works on modern browsers across phones, tablets, and computers with WebGL support. Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox are recommended for the smoothest experience. Bonvo also offers the Bonvo Ski iPhone app for real-world mountain navigation, including offline 3D trail maps.
