Utah’s Brighton Resort is bringing back its annual Design the Sign contest with a special anniversary twist. The resort is asking skiers, snowboarders, artists, and fans to create an original design celebrating 90 years of Brighton.

This year’s winning artwork will become part of the resort’s visual identity as Brighton commemorates its 90th anniversary. Each submission must incorporate the phrase “Thank You for 90 Years of Brighton.” The contest gives participants a chance to create artwork that could become part of Brighton’s history while competing for a substantial collection of prizes.

Submissions Are Open Through October 28

Artists can submit as many entries as they want, but all designs must be original artwork created by the person entering the contest. The resort specifically stated that AI-generated submissions are not allowed.

To enter, participants must post their design on Instagram, tag @brightonresort, and use the hashtag #thankyoufor90yearsofbrighton. Entrants must also email their design to social1@brightonresort.com along with proof that the artwork is original. The submission deadline is October 28th.

This year the grand prize winner will be selected by the Brighton family. Two runner-up designs will be selected through an online audience vote from finalists chosen by the resort team. Online voting will begin October 28th.

Season Pass And Ski Gear Among Prizes

The grand prize package includes a Brighton Unlimited Season Pass for either the 2026-27 or 2027-28 season, with the winner choosing which season to use it. The winner will also receive either an Armada snowboard or a pair of Armada skis.

Additional prizes include a 686 Snow gift card along with gear and prizes from DANG Shades, ThirtyTwo, Gregory Packs, Autumn Headwear, and Skullcandy. The two runner-up winners will receive gift cards from Brighton and several of the contest’s participating brands.

Full contest rules and submission guidelines are available through Brighton Resort’s website and social media channels.
