ISLE ROYALE, Michigan — A 70-year-old Isle Royale National Park hiker has been reported missing by his family after failing to return home at the end of his planned trip to the remote Lake Superior island.
Craig Berg of Berkley, Michigan was supposed to return home on Saturday from his hiking trip on Isle Royale and was reported missing on Sunday. Berg is described as approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, between 210-220 pounds, wearing jeans, brown hiking boots and a light-blue backpack. Berg was also using trekking poles and hiking slowly and alone.
