The MoonPay X Games League has named its four general managers who will build the inaugural winter rosters, including Olympic champion Jonny Moseley and other industry icons. The new ski and snowboard competition is set to kick off in January 2027.

The appointments were announced on August 13th while also confirming XC Whistler as the fourth and final founding winter club. Dave Sypniewski, Sharalee “Haze” Hazen, and Ryan Stutt will lead the four clubs in addition to Jonny Moseley.

Four Clubs Prepare for the Winter Season

Moseley will serve as general manager of XC Golden State, bringing his years of competitive and broadcasting experience to the group. Sypniewski will lead XC New York after a career working across snowboarding., athlete marketing, partnerships, and events. He will work alongside Barrett Christy Cummins, an 11-time X Games medalist and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame inuctee.

Hazen will lead XC Park City after serving as the general manager of XC Los Angeles through the X Games League’s inaugural summer season. Her background includes athlete advocacy, marketing, and league operations. Stutt, a long time Canadian action sports media executive and founder of Forecast Ski and King Snow, will lead XC Whistler.

X Games League Winter Draft Set for September

The four general managers will oversee roster construction and athlete strategy as they prepare for the XGL Winter Draft set for September 16th in Los Angeles. Each club will select a 10-athlete roster that includes skiers and snowboarders from around the world. The MoonPay X Games League Winter Season is scheduled to begin in January of 2027 in Aspen.

Thew X Games League innaugural summer season reached 18.3 million U.S. television viewers across ABC and ESPN, a 78.5% increase compared with 2025.
