The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle that was reportedly seen traveling at high speed on a bike path near Boulder, Colorado.
According to the sheriff’s office the incident occurred on Sunday, August 2nd, at approximately 1:38pm. Deputies say the vehicle was traveling toward Boulder from the Davidson Mesa area while driving on the bike path located along the north side of US 36. Authorities estimate the vehicle reached speeds of up to 50 mph while on the path, creating a clearly dangerous situation.
Vehicle Description Released
Investigators believe the vehicle may be a black Infiniti coupe. One of the most distinctive features noted by deputies is a pair of red or pink fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office released the description in hopes that someone who recognizes the vehicle or its driver will come forward with information that could assist the investigation.
Public Asked to Help Identify Driver
Deputies say they would like to speak with the person who was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
