The legendary slopes of Sölden Ski Resort in Austria once again transformed into a giant dancefloor for the six-day Electric Mountain Festival (EMF). The 11th annual EMF featured 15 international performers playing at the multi-venue festival but the clear highlight was the massive high elevation rave at the base of the slopes (elevation 6,561 feet). Hydrating is important at any dance show but when you’re partying at over a mile high its an absolute imperative.

“Bluebird days, fresh snowfall, insane locations, surprise community moments, wild après-ski energy and crowds that never stopped.” -Sölden

Timmy Trumpet, R3hab and James Hype absolutely smashed their sets for what will be remembered as one of the best EMFs yet. If you’re interested in heading to Austria next spring for a week of music, skiing and unforgettable fun, consider getting your friends together and booking flights to Tyrol in April.
