Colorado — After 194 days of operations and snowpack sadly dwindling, Arapahoe Basin has announced they will be closing down for the 2025/2026 ski season on Sunday, May 3rd. A-Basin is planning on going out with a bang and encouraging skiers and snowboarders to come out and participate in their end of year celebrations:
“With what will be a total of 194 days on snow, even in a historically low snowpack year, we still managed to offer you the longest season in Colorado. So, let’s celebrate what we had, the hard work of our staff, and what we’re looking forward to next season. We’ll see you out there.”
Closing weekend looks like its going to be a blast so make sure to dress up to add to the festivities. Here’s some of the details from the closing weekend festivities:
-Live music in the base area from 12-3 PM on Saturday & Sunday
-Dress up for your favorite May Basin holiday: Swimwear Day, Derby Day, Denim/Jorts Day, May the 4th, whatever you celebrate.
-$39 lift tickets every day from 4/27-5/3! On sale tomorrow.
– Beer specials at the 6th Alley
-Pick your favorite theme (or all of them), dust off those costumes and show up and show out.
Heads up, lift tickets drop to $39 starting April 27th so even if you can’t make the party, you can snag some very cheap spring turns as A-Basin closes out the season. Fair warning, there will be no beginner terrain available. Wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, have fun ya’ll!
