France — Chaotic scenes from Courchevel Ski Resort in France where the slopes were temporarily taken over by the DerBike mass-start bike race which starts at the top of the snow-covered Saulire and runs all the way down to the lake in Le Praz.
The course covers a massive 4,593 foot vertical drop while taking riders between steep slopes, twisty trails and even some pavement towards the end. It’s a competition that demands total commitment, masterful technique, and fair bit of bravery.
