The ski season is coming to a close across North America, with ski resorts from the east coast to the west shutting down their lifts for the summer. Some might reopen for mountain biking or hiking and some might stay shuttered until the next proper snowfall. Michigan, a state home to around 44 operating ski areas, is down to just 4 open ski areas, and a few of them are aiming to stay open into May.
