BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. — A small child was flown to the hospital Sunday afternoon after falling from a ski lift at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort in Blair County, Pennsylvania.

Details are limited at this time, but Blair County dispatch officials said emergency crews were called to the scene around 3:30pm Sunday. 6 News spoke with Blue Knob Ski Patrol officials who said the young child had to be flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. The extent of the child’s injuries is currently unknown.

Ski Patrol leaders also said they evaluated the child on scene before the emergency helicopter arrived.
