2/25/206: Hoodoo Ski and Recreation Area

Hoodoo Ski and Recreation Area is temporarily closed following a nasty rainstorm cycle to caused major flooding leaving three of their chairlifts underwater. Hoodoo will remain closed until the floodwater drains and the snowpack on the trails rebuilds:

“Sadly, the weather has not been cooperative this year at all and definitely not this week. We have had giant rain storms and massive flooding the last couple of days and, as you can see from our web cams, we have three lifts underwater.  Hoodoo will be closed temporarily while waiting for the water to subside and snow to build back up on the runs. We hope to be open this weekend but stay tuned for further announcements. Thank you for all your support. We look forward to seeing you in the snow.” -Hoodoo

We sincerely hope Central Oregon’s original ski area gets some much needed snow so the locals can enjoy one of most affordable places to ride in the Pacific Northwest (lift tickets for adults are only $39 and kids age 10 and under ski and ride free every day). Sending snowy vibes to Hoodoo!
