Chamonix, France — If you have any experience skiing in low visibility you will sympathize with this unfortunate pair of snowboarders who both suffered the same fate while in southeastern France.

Due to dense fog, the first snowboarder inadvertently missed a turn and flew off a cliff. As he was gathering himself to continue on, he heard a yelp from behind him and caught of glimpse of his riding partner tomahawking off the very same cliff. His reaction is priceless.

Thankfully the snow in the gully was soft and no one was injured. If you ever find yourself in skiing or snowboarding in fog or whiteout snow conditions remember to slow down and focus on contrast to get your bearings. Look out for trees or other visual markers to help maintain depth perception and stick on familiar runs to avoid surprises like these fellas in France.
