Monticello, New York — Holiday Mountain has undergone quite the overhaul over the past few years, and they’re offering a great deal for outsiders to check it out.

From February 24-26th, Holiday Mountain is offering free lift tickets to each person who has a season pass at another ski resort. This includes Ikon, Epic, and Indy passholders. A separate photo ID is also needed.

There will also be a deal for next week. From March 3-5, if you bring in a lift ticket from another mountain this winter, you get a free lift ticket at Holiday Mountain.

Situated 85 miles away from New York City, Holiday Mountain was on the verge of closure in 2023. However, local businessman Mike Taylor bought the ski area and got to work reinvigorating it.

The upgrades have included replacing the Turkey Trot chairlift, lift renovations, adding new runs, putting in a terrain park with a rope tow, extensive snowmaking upgrades, new snow groomers, adding a new snowtubing area, and building a new lodge (which did suffer a setback but is expected to open soon).

Next up is the reopening of the North Lodge terrain pod, which will host around 9 trails and a fixed-grip chairlift.
