Lindsey Vonn was airlifted following a crash in Crans-Montana during the final downhill race before the 2026 Winter Olympics. Lindsey was the sixth racer down the hill and the third to crash in the race amid extremely difficult conditions in Switzerland.
Lindsey did manage to ski herself to the bottom after crashing into the B-Net but was in obvious pain, keeping weight off of her left knee. Lindsey was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
