The world's first electric road skis.

If you’ve ever felt the need to carve some turns everywhere, no matter the time of year or location, then you should look into the Skwheel Peak, the world’s first electric skis.

Skwheel is offering two Peak models, the standard Peak, and the Peak S. The Peak is designed for use on roads and other pavement surfaces, reaching speeds up to around 20mph. The Peak S takes things to the next level, designed for use on all terrain while reaching speeds just under 40mph.

The electric skis use a remote to control speed and breaking, with 4 speed modes, a control wheel with buttons, an LCD screen, and an ergonomic grip to fit easily in your hand. When not riding, the handle connects the two “skis” to make getting strapped in easy. Additionally, when connected to the “skis”, the handle can extend and turn the entire device into a carrying case.

The standard Peak is launching with a discounted price of around $1,160, while the Peak S will cost around $1,746. Once that discount goes away, the Peak will cost around $1,746 while the Peak S will cost around $2,332. You can pre-order the devices here.
