With help from 37 inches of snow since Sunday, Arizona Snowbowl opened yesterday, November 20th, at 12pm for the 2025-26 winter season, a day earlier than originally planned. Additional natural snowfall and snowmaking are expected to continue over the next few days.

“This storm delivered a phenomenal jumpstart to our season, and opening early is an exciting way to welcome riders and skiers back to the mountain. Snowbowl is known for long, reliable seasons, and the amount of snow we’ve received this week gives us incredible momentum heading into winter.” – Angie Grubb, Arizona Snowbowl marketing manager.

Snowbowl opened with terrain on Spur Catwalk, Frontier, Lower Bowl, Log Jam, Wild Turkey, and Round Up, all serviced by the Arizone Gondola. The resort plans to open up more lifts and terrain as conditions allow. Currently the open terrain is suited for advanced skiers and riders only.

Today (November 21st) at 9am local time, Arizona Snowbowl is kicking off their opening week celebrations with complimentary donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, live music, and giveaways at the base of the Arizona Gondola. Additionally the Agassiz Lodge will be open daily with food, beverages, and retail offerings while the Hart Prairie Lodge will be available for guest services and rental pickup.

Starting today, Snowbowl will be open daily from 9am to 4pm through late spring, as long as conditions allow. Lift tickets for the entire season are available for purchase online now, including $19 tickets for select days. Additionally Arizona Snowbowl is included on the Power Kids Pass, providing free, unlimited skiing to those 12 and under.
