There are a lot of differences between an intermediate and an advanced skier. Strength, confidence, turning ability, speed control, etc, etc. While there’s no one way to fix any of those problems and immediately make someone a better skier, there is one major thing that intermediate skiers are often failing to do that holds them back.

You hear “get forward” or “get to the front of the boot” pretty often, but what does that actually mean? Primarily it’s about flexing your ankles and pressing your shins forward, but even that can be a bit confusing. The video below does a great job explaining where your weight should be.
