North America — What is the best lift in North America? For avid skiers, some lifts are frequently mentioned, like Chair 23 at Mammoth and the Aerial Tram at Snowbird. This is demonstrated by hardcore skier Lucas Catania’s list of favorite lifts.

In a video by Lucas Catania, he breaks down his favorite lifts of all time. Catania tends to ski in Western North America, so his picks are in this area.

His top five picks include Wildcat at Alta, Edelweiss at Alpental, Chair 23 at Mammoth, the Aerial Tram at Snowbird, and the Helicopter. A helicopter isn’t the name of a chairlift, but rather heli-skiing. Catania described the stimulation overload and the opportunity to see crew members in action as the reasons behind the number one pick. His honorable mention pick is the Stoke Chair at Revelstoke due to its sick name and fun terrain.

my favorite SKI LIFTS of ALL TIME!

What’s your favorite chair? I think my five favorites are Kanc 8 at Loon, Zoomer at Cannon, Gad 2 at Snowbird, Collins at Alta, and the Lone Peak Tram at Big Sky.
