Tragic news out of Ouray County, Colorado, where an ice climber passed away at some point on Saturday, November 15th.
According to the Ouray Mountain Rescue Team, a body recovery was performed on Sunday, November 16th, in the Precipice Peak area of the West Fork of the Cimarron River.
Sheriffs, coroners, and search and rescue personnel from Ouray and Hinsdale Counties, the Colorado Department of Fire Prevention and Control, and the Colorado Search and Rescue Association all took part in the recovery operation. No further information on the incident, recovery, or victim have been released at this time.
