Austria — If you have claustrophobia, you’ve come to the wrong place.
There are many perks to skiing in Europe compared to the USA. There’s the affordability aspect, the lively apres scene, and an authentic food experience. What is one way the North American experience is better? Lift lines. While they can be long at major destinations in the U.S., lift lines don’t have the same level of intricacy in Europe, leading to people trying to sneak past others. The worst-case scenario in Europe is demonstrated below.
In this video by @powderbuam, they capture footage of a skier attempting to navigate through a lift line at Kitzsteinhorn, a ski resort on a glacier in Austria. The 2000s Black Friday-esque scenario is enhanced by ski racers who carry backpacks.
