Looks like most every ski resort in BC isn’t scheduled to open until the backend of November but if you are willing to put in the effort, there is plenty of fun to be had in the backcountry. Remember folks, although its early season avalanche risks may be present in the backcountry. To continue or begin your journey through avalanche education we highly recommend taking advantage of the resources offered by Know Before You Go. Be safe, have fun, let it snow!
