Boston, Massachusetts โ If you’re a Northeast skier who’s looking to save money on a Loon Mountain ticket, one option is going to a Bruins game.
For the 2025-26 season, the Boston Bruins are bringing back the Skate & Ski package. If you purchase a $150 ticket at a Bruins game this season, you also get a lift ticket at Loon Mountain. This offer is available for the following upcoming matchups for the Bs: Buffalo Sabres on October 30th, Ottawa Senators on November 6th, Carolina Hurricanes on November 17th, St. Louis Blues on December 4th, Utah Mammoth (tusk!) on December 16th, Calgary Flames on January 8th, and Detroit Red Wings on January 13th.
The hidden costs here are parking and having to watch the Bruins play this season (it’s not going so hot for the Black and Gold).
There are some notable caveats with the purchase. The ticket is good for Monday through Friday at the New Hampshire ski resort. This means you can’t use the lift ticket on weekends or holiday periods. The specified holiday periods include December 26, 2025โJanuary 2, 2026, January 19, 2026, and February 16โ20, 2026. The lift ticket also expires at the end of the 2025-26 season.
I find this offer interesting and wonder why more NHL teams don’t offer something like it. Some potential teams that could partner with ski resorts on tickets include the Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Utah Mammoth.
