They say you should never meet your heroes but if you idolize American ski great, Mikaela Shiffrin that simply isn’t true. The winningest alpine racer of all-time has multiple thriving fan club communities and the head of one of them got the chance to have a little facetime with Mikaela during a press event at the World Cup weekend in Sölden, Austria.

Mikaela was incredibly gracious for the support and even gave them a tidbit about her favorite songs from the new Taylor Swift album. This is fan interaction done right by both parties.
Honestly it fills me with joy to see these ladies on the sidelines in Sölden in US Ski Team gear cheering their hearts out for Miki. Cheers to Gina, Anna and Julia…this is what being a fan of ski racing is all about:
