The U.S. Interstate system is rather impressive, with 71 primary interstates throughout the Interstate Highway System. While every state in the lower 48 has at least one primary interstate running through it, some are a lot less substantial than others. Beaver Geography took a look at the widest interstate in each state, ranging from just 6 lanes to an enormous 23 lanes.
