Wyoming — Jackson Hole is already known for its luxury lodging, like the Four Seasons, and another property could eventually be built slopeside at the ski resort.

Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that the Wyoming ski resort is in talks with a third-party to build a luxury hotel at what is currently known as the Cody Lot. According to Mike Corbet, who’s the co-owner of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the hotel would be a six-star hotel, even though those don’t technically exist. The development would have 180 parking spaces. Other than that, details about the hotel or condominium building have yet to be fully announced.

The plans were brought up during a Teton Village Association (TVA) meeting this past Monday. The TVA initially opposed the plans. However, after discussing, they endorsed, but did not entirely approve, the plans during the Monday meeting.

As part of the proposal, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort would donate the land in the Crystal Lot to the TVA, which could result in the building of a parking garage.

For now, the Cody lot will remain open to the public, with prices ranging from $35 to $45 during the winter. Currently, there are 258 spots for visitors at Cody.
