World Record Harley Jump

It took him four attempts but “The People’s Champ” 11-time X Games medalist Colby Raha shattered the Harley-Davidson Distance Jump World Record in front of thousands of cheering fans at Sturgis.

The jump went down yesterday at The Thunderdome during the 85th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally where Colby hopped on his V-Twin Harley-Davidson Sportster and sent it off massive jump going 80mph in tribute to his hero Evel Knievel.

The previous record was by Seth Enslow who jumped his Harley 183 feet. Colby landed his 1200cc Harley Davidson Sportster and incredible 205 feet.

“He did it! Colby Raha, a six-time gold medalist at the X Games, attempted a 200-foot world record jump on a Harley V-Twin at Thunderdome out on Highway 34 Saturday, hoping to emulate his hero, Evel Knievel.” -KBHB, Terry Anderson
