Congratulations to motocross rider Colby Raha who set a new world record over the weekend at the Palm Springs Surf Club. The 30-year-old California born X-Games athlete clocked 100 mph before hitting a ramp that sent him flying 200 feet through the air over 23 BMW sedans. What makes Colby’s feat so remarkable is he didn’t have the benefit of a landing ramp to make reentry a smooth transition, Colby landed straight to flat pavement. That’s roughly the length of a standard city block straight to asphalt, securing Raha a new world record. Incredible.
