COLORADO – Loveland Ski Area officially retired Lift 7 after 42 years of service back in early June, and now we’re getting a look at the work done on the replacement.
Lift 7 provided access to beginner terrain in the Loveland Valley area, separate from Loveland’s main ski terrain. Things are moving along well on the brand-new Leitner Poma Lift 7, with concrete being poured for the top terminal and towers.
The new lift is set to feature extra-wide carriers with the goal of providing beginners with more space and comfort while loading and riding the lift. It’s just another addition to the ski area’s commitment to providing a welcoming and top experience for skiers of all levels, beginner toe expert.
Loveland Ski Area is one of the closer ski areas to Denver, sitting just 53 miles west of the city. It includes 1,800 acres of skiable terrain in addition to free snowcat skiing right along the continental divide.
