It might be the middle of summer but it’s always the right time to honor this legendary sledding jump that literally made national news headlines during the winter of 2019.

A local Idaho news station piggybacked on to the social media buzz generated by the near orbital inflatable canoe launch on Proctor Mountain in Sun Valley and sent a crew to interview the folks responsible. Sometimes we come up with off the wall ideas when the snow is deep and they often don’t go to plan, in this case it could not have worked out better:
