Citi Bike rider goes on X-Games park

There are over 30,000 Citi Bikes available in New York City with over 1,800 docking stations cross Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Jersey City, and Hoboken. The bulky commuter bikes are meant for short trips around the city but there is a crew of riders who are dedicated to pushing their limits with freestyle tricks.

Known as The City Bike Boys, these renegade riders spend their days launching the 45 pound bikes off of all manner of urban obstacles. One of the City Bike Boys recently found their way into an X-Games park meant for skateboards and BMX and quickly showed how radical you can get on a New York public bicycle sharing system bike. Wallrides and backflips are not recommended during traditional 45-minute Citi Bike rides but they certainly are amazing to watch:
