Titcomb Mountain in Maine has received over $1.6 Million in donations to date since beginning a fundraiser in mid-April to acquire a new T-bar. A brand new T-Bar will be installed where Lift 2 will be installed thanks both to the donations and a bid from Doppelmayr USA that came in well below expected price.

We are all truly humbled and amazed at the outpouring of support for our Mountain; it truly shows just how special Titcomb is to so many people! Doppelmayr is extremely excited to be working with us, and production of the lift will begin immediately! It will be so cool to watch the progress of the installation throughout the summer.” – Titcomb Mountain

While they’ve reached their Phase 1 goals much faster than expected, Titcomb is continuing their fundraising in an effort to install two brand new lifts on the mountain before the winter. Additionally, the Board of Directors is exploring further options for additional funding to pursue infrastructure improvements like upgraded snowmaking, better lighting, and a Lodge Expansion.

More information on the fundraiser can be found at Zeffy.com. Titcomb has a fundraising goal of $2,225,000.
