The North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is set to open in less than a month, with the park welcoming guests in the area on Thursday, May 15 at 6am. Both Grand Canyon Trail Rides and Grand Canyon Lodge will also commence on that day.

The Bright Angel Point Trail will be closed for construction throughout the 2025 season. National Park Service personnel will be working to replace asphalt and move large rocks in the areas throughout the season. The closure will help to protect both staff and the visiting public during the repairs.

North Rim overnight lodging reservations can be made either by contacting Aramark Destinations at 877- 386-4383 or by visiting their website at grandcanyonnorth.com. Grand Canyon Trail Ride information can be found either by calling 435-679-8665 or by visiting www.canyonrides.com. Reservations for the North Rim Campground are made through recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.

North Rim access for day use will continue either until November 30, 2025, or until the first major snowstorm of the year if it comes before that date.
