Incredible footage from the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort where local skier Chase Vance was joined by a galloping moose while riding down a cat track to the Iron Mtn. Express Chairlift. Vance and the moose shared the trail for around 2 minutes:
“A once in a lifetime experience that will always be remembered! Keep it safe out there yall! This one decided to run, but a lot of moose are not afraid of people at all. This cat track down to the Iron Mountain Express lift is pretty tight and not many options for where either of us could go, but I was ready to bail if in case our friend decided to change its mind and get to know me rather than going for a stroll haha! Got to ski with the moose for almost 2 minutes!” -Chase Vance
Park City Mountain Resort closes today but if you decide to head out for an end of the season ski session, look out for moose.
