Now that we’re in late April, it’s probably time to officially admit that the ski season is coming to a close. Ski areas across the country are shutting down as the weather gets warmer, lifts are spinning for the last time, and people are starting to put storage wax on their skis and snowboarders.

Fortunately for those of us who just aren’t ready to let it go, there are still several mountains planning to operate for at least a few more weeks. In Colorado we’re down to just 5 ski resorts with continued operation, nearly all of which are located along the I-70 corridor. These are the five and when they’re scheduled to close:
