The designation of the hardest ski run in Europe is obviously subjective but many consider this mogul field at Portes du Soleil Ski Area to be the most difficult on the continent, if not the entire world.
The Mur Suisse or Swiss Wall sits on the border between France and Switzerland and is about as bumpy and steep a ski run as you’re ever gonna find. Defined by its oversized moguls that have been compared to small cars, the slope begins with a hefty steep 40 degree pitch.
The Swiss Wall is classified Orange in the Swiss/French difficulty ski trail rating system, which means it is too difficult to fit in the standard classification and above a double black diamond.
