Pond skim basketball dunk.
Pond skim basketball dunk.

Pond skimming is arguably the best spring skiing tradition, asking skiers and snowboarders to hurl themselves across a typically man-made pool while hoping to stay out of the frigid waters below. The event usually includes fun costumes, park features, or jumps to spice it up, but every area does it a bit differently.

Rob Worling took the pond skim to another level, attempting to dunk a basketball in the middle of his run. He manages to cross the pond, hit a jump, dunk a basketball, and land all without crashing or winding up soaked in the cold waters. Seriously impressive stuff.

Oh yeah, he doesn’t just dunk the ball. He performs a proper between-the-legs dunk mid-air after a pond skim. Plenty of people wouldn’t even be able to make it across the pond in the first place.
